Day 9 : Gold Coast

Hotel. Today proceed for Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the Gold Coast’s
leading native wildlife and coastal rainforest experience. With hundreds of
native Australian animals on display in natural surroundings, Currumbin
provides a rare opportunity to get closer to amazing native wildlife. The
Sanctuary is an Advanced Eco-Tourism Certified, National Trust of Queensland
property which offers a world of discovery through fascinating wildlife shows
and displays, with Aboriginal dancers also performing daily. Located in
Currumbin on the Southern Gold Coast we are a five minute drive from Gold Coast
Airport (Coolangatta), and a 30 minute drive from Surfers Paradise. We are
located 300m from Currumbin Beach on 27 hectares of lush rainforest and
bushland. We have onsite parking ($10 per vehicle) as well as street parking
available. There is a public bus which comes straight past the Sanctuary from
Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. This runs daily and is a regular service. We
are also to get to by Taxi or Rideshare option. If you have guests arriving on
early flights in to the GC we are a very good option for a morning visit to the
Sanctuary. We offer luggage storage for $3 a piece so guests can come from the
airport, see the Sanctuary and then move on to their accommodation to check in
or their next part of their Gold Coast adventure. Guests spend from
approximately three hours to a half day here with us at the Sanctuary.

Day 10 : Gold Coast – Cairns
After breakfast,
check out from hotel and transfer to the airport to board your flight to
Cairns. Arrive Cairns and SIC transfer to hotel in Cairns. Overnight in Cairns.

Breakfast at
hotel. Full day Green Island Big Cat Cruise. Tour includes Coach transfers,
buffet lunch, reef tax, return transfer to Green Island, tea and coffee on
boarding, activity and snorkeling demonstration, fish feeding display,
self-guided island walk, Semi-Submarine tour, a choice of touring options.

Day 12 : Cairns
Breakfast at
hotel. Today you will be picked up from your hotel to commence a full day
Kuranda Skyrail, and Scenic Rail tour. Transfer to Smithfield Terminal to board
the Sky rail Rainforest Cableway at the scheduled time advised by the driver
and glide over and through the rainforest canopy to Kuranda. There are two
stations en-route where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the rainforest
to spectacular lookouts or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Arrive at
Kuranda to enjoy free time for approximately 3 hours, and explore the 'Village
in the Rainforest' and its many attractions including the Heritage Markets.
Enjoy lunch (own expense). Other Kuranda Village attractions you may wish to
visit are Birdworld, The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or Kuranda Koala
Gardens (own expense). At 02:00pm board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for the
journey to Cairns, and enjoy spectacular views as the train travels through 15
hand cut tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls. Stop at Barron Gorge to view
the falls before arriving at Freshwater Station. Tour concludes at
approximately 04:00pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence. Overnight
in Cairns.

Day 13 : Cairns – Sydney
After
breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to the airport to board your
flight to Sydney. Arrive Sydney and transfer to hotel & check in. Overnight
in Sydney.

Day 14 : Sydney
Breakfast at
hotel. Today proceed for Big Bus Hop on Hop off. Experience all the excitement
of Australia’s famous harbour city aboard the Big Bus Sydney and Bondi Beach,
